It all began in February 1974, with MaryAnn working out of the basement of her husband, Bob's clothing store in Rome, New York.  As a dedicated volunteer at local nursing homes, she found that the residents had difficulty and missed shopping for their own clothing. Her solution? Bring the store directly to them!
